Measures the number of distinct drug and alcohol crime incidents (not offense reports) in Denver. Uses COUNT(DISTINCT INCIDENT_ID) to avoid double-counting incidents with multiple offense records. Filters to OFFENSE_CATEGORY_ID = 'drug-alcohol'. Date is based on FIRST_OCCURRENCE_DATE (when the incident occurred, not when it was reported). Data is sourced from the Denver Police Department crime offenses dataset, updated Monday–Friday. Crimes that occurred at least 30 days ago tend to be most accurate.
