Homeless 911 Calls in the Sunset Are at a Two-Year Low

District 4 — the Outer Sunset and Inner Sunset — received just 35 homeless complaint 911 calls in February 2026, down 52% from the prior six-month average of 73 calls per month. That's the lowest monthly count since at least early 2024, when the district was averaging 22–40 calls per month before a surge in mid-2025.
